Moore, Catherine:
Surrounded by the love of her family, Cathy passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at the age of 78. Beloved wife for 53 years to John. Loving and devoted mother of Melanie Ottaway and her husband Robert, John Moore and his wife Kim, and Tim Moore and his wife Suzelle. She will be missed by her nephew George Gifford and many dear relatives and friends. Predeceased by her parents, Agnes and Ben Collins. Cathy retired from Dare Foods after 33 years of service. In her retirement, she was actively involved with her Probus Group and was a dedicated volunteer for the Canadian Cancer Society for many years. Cathy’s family will receive relatives and friends from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A Service to celebrate Cathy’s life will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, May 27, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Grand River Hospital Foundation-Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
