Obituary for Calvin Leroy Smith
With sadness the family announces the passing of Calvin in Sarasota Florida, in his 72nd year. Calvin is predeceased by his father Bert and his mother Nona. Loving brother of Leola (Don) Carpenter, Wenda (Bob) Ryckman, Karan (Jim) Carpenter, Gordon (Eileen) Smith, and Erwin Smith (the late Tafila). Predeceased by his siblings Rodney and Iona. Calvin will also be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews, extended family, and many friends in Canada and the United States. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Calvin’s Life will be held Circle of Life Cremation and Burial Centre, 100 King St. E., Dundas, on Saturday, June 1, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. with spoken words at 3 p.m. (additional parking at the Air Force Club). Interment at a later date. Donations in Calvin’s memory may be made to the Cancer Assistance Program of Hamilton, or a charity of your choice.
