Glen Stuart passed into the arms of his Saviour on April 8, 2019 after almost 88 years in our world. Glen’s life was filled with many adventures as he and his wife Sarah lived across three provinces and made many friends. After hearing that Jesus went to the cross in his place, Glen accepted the gift of salvation early in his life at a Bible camp. During his many years of farming and retirement he spent most of his spare time volunteering in many ministries and loved his family, friends, church and Lord.
He is predeceased by his parents Spenser and Mary Stuart and his brother, Elmer. He is survived by his brothers Malcolm, Ray and sister Jean (Grills) and their families; 4 children, Harvey Stuart (Janie Mock), Marilyn (Dwayne) Harapnuik, Laura (Darrell) Stuart-Shaw, Kim (Dave) Ciccone; 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Glen’s life will be held at Heritage Alliance Church, 3440 Mt. Lehman Rd. Abbotsford, BC this coming Saturday April 20th at 1 PM
Many heartfelt thanks to the caring and compassionate staff of the Palliative Care Unit at the ARH and at Holmberg Home. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Fraser Valley Gleaners or Heritage Alliance Church in Abbotsford.
