In Loving Memory of Stanley John Luck
March 12, 1928 – April 26, 2018
Stan passed peacefully with his family at his side after a long life filled with love and laughter.
Beloved husband of Christina, and father of Raymond (and Sandi) and Ian (and Elaine), grandchildren Gregory (and Abby), Jamie (and Caitlin), Amanda, Tammy (and Scot), Shelly (and Mark) and Sabrina (and Duane). Fondly remembered by great grandchildren Cabriana, Gryphon, Brandon, Benton, Niki, Sydney, Ricky, Ryan, Emily, Jonathon, Samantha, and great, great grandchildren Ava and Kyle. Cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews in Britain and Canada.
Stan was born in Surrey, England and joined the British Navy at the age of 18. He met his wife Christina while stationed in Rothesay, Scotland. He was posted to Malta in the Mediterranean and after discharge emigrated to Canada with his wife and two sons in 1957. Stan worked as an electrician for the TTC in Toronto. On retirement Stan and Christina lived in Brantford for many years before moving to Bracebridge. Stan was a meticulous woodworker and an avid golfer with 4 hole in one’s to his credit.

Memorial donations may be made in Stan’s name to the Haliburton Highlands Health Services Foundation (HHHSF).
