Obituary of Royce George Thompson
THOMPSON, Royce George peacefully with family by his side at the Meaford Long Term Care Centre, Meaford April 10, 2019. Roy Thompson of Meaford and formerly of Sauble Beach in his 95th year. Beloved husband of Marguerite Thompson (nee Shier) for 65 years. Cherished father of Annette Musselman and her husband Wayne of Georgian Bluffs, Eleanor Thompson and her husband Peter Howelett of Cambridge, Dianne Thompson of Guelph and Cheryl Martin and her husband Jack of Meaford. Loving grandfather of Carrie (Dane), Krista, Scott, Lindsay (Jeff), Jaclynn (Mike), Dean (Brandy) and Dallas (Brianna) and great grandfather of Rylee, Blake, Zoe, Jade, Cohen, Hera and Sophie. Dear brother of Doug (Marg) of Newmarket and Joe (Barb) of Bloomfield and brother-in-law of Grace Smith of Nelson, B.C. Predeceased by parents Phyllis (nee Williams) and George Thompson, brothers Harry, Howard, Tom, Dalton and Ronald and sisters Jean and Glenna. Arrangements entrusted to the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth. Expressions of remembrance to the Grey Bruce Animal Shelter would be appreciated.
