Robert Bob Carter 19412019

Robert “Bob” Carter
1941-2019
CARTER, Robert
“Bob”(known as Mano to his family) – 77 of Bridgewater,
passed away April 19, 2019 at home. Born in Halifax, he was a son of
the late Cecil and Rita (Jane) Carter. Bob proudly served in the Royal
Canadian Air Force for 32 years. He loved pool, family
BBQ’s, a good glass of wine, as well as hockey and baseball.
Bob loved the sun, and he will be missed being seen taking his exotic
walks around the neighbourhood. He volunteered wherever he could in
the community and could always be found at one of the Christmas
Kettles or the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Campaign. He was known as
the town jokester, always having a joke to tell. Surviving are his
daughter Cali Carter (Glen Hancock); granddaughter Jordon Carter
(Shaun McCauley); great-granddaughter Alaska McCauley. A celebration
of life will be held 2-4pm Sunday, with a public Legion Tribute
service beginning at 2:00pm at Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 24,
Bridgewater. Interment will be held at a later date. No flowers by
request. Memorial Donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion
Poppy Campaign or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
