Obituary of Marian Marjorie Walker
WALKER, Marian Marjorie peacefully with family by her side at Country Lane Nursing Home, Chatsworth on Sunday afternoon April 14, 2019. Marian Walker (nee Schnurr) of Hepworth in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Harry Walker (1994). Cherished mother of Kathleen McBlain and her husband Q. Blake of Caledonia, Patrick Walker of Owen Sound and Stephen Walker and his wife Wynne of South Bruce Peninsula. Loved grandmother of Elizabeth (Stephen), Melissa (Adrian) and Thomas (Nicole) and great grandmother of Sarah, Isabella, Emma, James, Dylan, Donavan, Alexander and Caitlyn. Dear sister of Marilyn Saunders and her husband Bev of Hamilton and Marcel ‘Red’ Schnurr and his wife Muriel of Owen Sound. Predeceased by son Jack (1975), parents Elizabeth (nee Kieffer) and Joseph Schnurr, brothers Morris, Murray and Mervyn and sisters Martina Jones, Marie Jones, Margaret Morneau, Marcella Connor and Mildred Schnurr. Family and friends are invited to the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. with parish prayers recited at 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted from Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Sauble Beach on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Spring interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hepworth. Expressions of remembrance to the Hepworth-Shallow Lake Royal Canadian Legion or St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Hepworth would be appreciated.
