Douglas John Ablett passed away peacefully on April 19, 2019 in Kelowna. His wife of 60 years, Marie, was at his side. He was born in Kelowna in 1933, the second child of Art and May Ablett. He had six siblings, Vivian, Ab, Sheila, Gordon, Richard and Donna.
He is survived by Sheila and Gordon. His family lived in many places including Oliver, Ocean Falls, Salmo, Vancouver, Highland Valley and Kelowna. Doug married Marie, daughter of Ross and Lena Loyst, in Vernon. They had four children, Todd…
