Dorothy Martha Marie Nelles (nee St. Louis)
1927 – 2019
Passed peacefully on Sunday, April 28. Beloved wife of Howard for 44 years. Loving mother of Nancy Meens and Carolyn Burtch. Predeceased by son Steven Burtch. Step mother of Carolyn Wark, Janice Scholey and Diane Stanton. Survived by 18 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Will be missed by her many family and friends. Dorothy was a graduate of St. Joseph’s School of Nursing in 1949.
A special thank you to the staff at the Elisabeth Bruyere Hospital for their special care.
Friends are invited to visit at the Pinecrest Remembrance Centre, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa on Friday, May 3, 2019 from 1 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. in the Pinecrest Chapel. Interment and reception to follow.
