Diana Mary Dignam May 17 1925 April 25 2019

Diana Mary Dignam
May 17, 1925 – April 25, 2019
Diana passed peacefully at her home in Baltimore ON, surrounded by family and friends. She had a wonderfully full life of almost 94 years. Diana brought love, joy, and happiness to all those who knew her, and touched a great many hearts with her dynamic nature.
Diana (Di) was never married. She was a brilliant and kind soul. Di was educated at Havergal College Toronto; Oakwood Collegiate Toronto; Normal School Victoria BC; and UCLA California. She taught in British Columbia, Alberta, Switzerland, France, Toronto and Meaford, Ontario. An avid skier, golfer, and bridge player extraordinaire; she loved word puzzles, sudoku and luminosity.com. Diana was keenly engaged in politics, the environment, and charitable causes. She had a great sense of humour, loved dogs, and had a very generous heart as her friends and family will attest to.
She will be greatly missed by her older brother Russell, and his wife Rosemary, her nephews and nieces, David, Cathy, Ian, Don, Carol, Tim, Darcy, and Marc; as well as their partners and children; and special friends David, Melodie, the Bylsmas, and the Cobourg Duplicate Bridge Club.
There will be a celebration of life gathering in MacCoubrey Funeral Home Reception Centre, on Saturday, May 18 at 2:00 pm. All are welcome. Condolences received at www.maccourbrey.com.
