Debra Ann McDougall Maiden Glen of Edmonton

On April 22, 2019, our beloved Debbie McDougall passed away peacefully at the age of 64 years. Debbie will be fondly remembered for her sense of humour, creative talents, and nurturing personality.
Debbie leaves behind her adoring husband of 39 years, Sam. He was her travel companion, golf partner, and best friend. Debbie will be lovingly missed by her children, Allan (Jessica) McDougall, Bryan McDougall, and Caitlyn (Alex) Dunsmore; grandsons, William & Walker; sisters, Sandra Moher, and Cathy (Wayne) Anderson; brother, Bill Glen; nieces, nephews and many friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Stella and Bill Glen.
Debbie was passionate about working with children and spent a career in child care and education assistance. She was always seen at school volunteering with a smile and was considered a “second Mom” to many. She loved to travel, spending many summers with Sam at the trailer golfing.
The family are grateful for the compassion of Dr. Carmen Gingles, as well as the dedicated teams at the Cross Cancer Institute and the palliative care unit at the Grey Nuns.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 28, 2019, at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 4820 Meridian Street NW, Edmonton.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Debbie’s memory can be made to the Grey Nuns Hospital palliative care program.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Debra Ann McDougall Maiden Glen of Edmonton..
