It is with great sadness that the family of Christine Letemplier Lavallee announce her passing on Sunday, April 7th, 2019 at the CISSS de la Cote-Nord in Lourdes de Blanc Sablon at the age of 88 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children: Claude, Garry (Janice), Perry (Louise) and Marius (Rejeanne); her grandchildren: Chrissy, Tyler, Justin, Sam, Breianna, Balinda, Mederic, Brady, Brianna, Kylene, Matthew, Sophia and Philipe; her great-grandchildren: Kayden, Kyler, Lucy, Lincoln and Claudia; her siblings and in-laws: Victor, Cecil (Celestine), Sylvia, Genevieve, Leo, Gloria (Joe), Odette and Marcel (Rosanna); a large circle of nephews, nieces, extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Albert Letemplier and Mary O’Brien; her husband Mederic Lavallee; her siblings: Patrick, Margaret, Ruby, Clifford and Annette; her in-laws: Albert, Leo, David, Edmond, Antoinette and Norman, along with her daughter-in-law Joanne.
Christine spent a beautiful life in her hometown of Blanc Sablon, having lived independently for nearly 25 years. She was well known for her sense of humour and bringing laughter to any situation. She always spoke what was on her mind, and always ended with a chuckle. She loved music, family get-togethers and the company of friends. She has left us with many joyous memories that will forever be cherished by all those who had the privilege to meet her. Her strong faith was also evident in her everyday life. As she would always say, “Oh well…. God’s will.”
Funeral service will be held at St. Theresa Church on Tuesday, April 9th at 2 pm.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Christine
