SOCHASKY, Bobby Brian

Bobby will be sadly missed by his brother Wayne (Karen), Stevan and Kylie of Kingston, father-in-law Edward Hasler, sisters-in-law Linda Nelson and Cheryl Hasler, brothers-in-law Eddie Hasler and Alex Hasler, many nephews and his niece. Bobby is survived by his best chum of 38 years Frank (Rosylyn), his four-legged companion Bernie Boy, and his community of friends on Athenia Drive. Bobby was proud to be a Team Leader and mentor to many employees over the years at Arcelor Mittal Dofasco, where he worked and made long-lasting friendships for 39 years. Bobby’s family wishes to thank the team at Juravinski 3E Medicine (special shout out to nurses Erica and Devon for making the best out of a bad situation), the staff at St. Peter’s Hospital, and to Cheryl and Alex for all of their help.
Family and friends are welcomed to the Bay Gardens Funeral Home – “William J. Markey Chapel” on Thursday, May 2, 2019 for a Memorial Service at 1:00pm, followed by a celebration of Bobby’s life in the funeral home reception room. In keeping with Bobby’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
In Lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be most appreciated by his family. Please sign the online Book of Condolences at www.baygardens.ca
Bobby’s memory will forever live on with all of his friends as being “The Voice of Reason”.
