Anna’s Obituary
BANKS, Anna Mae ~ age 78 of Nictaux, NS formerly of Inglsiville, NS passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2019 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton surrounded by her family. Born in Middleton, she was a daughter of the late George A. and Leafy (Vidito) Grant. Anna enjoyed working at crafts and had a great love of animals. Her greatest delight was her granddaughter and great grandchildren. Anna will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Murray Banks; son, Murray Jr (Lisa) Banks, Brickton; sister, Shirley Houghton, Greenwood; brothers, Douglas (Laurette) Grant, Welland, ON; George (Maxine) Grant, Lawrencetown; granddaughter, Katherine (Matthew) Bryson, Belfast, PEI; great grandchildren, Henry William Bryson and Sibyl Elizabeth Victoria Bryson and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Janet; sisters, Daisy Harris; Peggy MacGregor; brothers, Gerald, Everett, Murray, Harold and Angus. Funeral service will be held 2:00PM Thursday, April 4, 2019 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., (902) 825-3448 with Rev. Leon Langille officiating. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery Port George. Donations in Anna’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Mid-Valley Palliative Care.
