Russell Alfred Blackwell, age 63, of Stratford, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at his residence. Born in Stratford, son of the late John and Gladys (Harrison) Blackwell. Loving husband of Carly (Ruston) Blackwell and proud father of Kristy Blackwell (Chris Storey) and Chad Blackwell (Brittany Wood). Especially proud Grampa to Hayden, Bridgette and Parker. Russ is survived by his siblings; Joseph (Tammy) Blackwell, Connie (Tom) Wilson and his mother-in-law Marion Ruston, his sister-in-law Joanne Blackwell and his many nieces, nephews and their families. Besides his parents, Russ was predeceased by his brothers, Jackie Blackwell, Bradley Blackwell and his father-in-law Frank Ruston. In keeping with Russ’s wishes, cremation will take place with a celebration of his life at a later date.
