Margaret Marie Rafuse
1934-2019
Rafuse, Margaret Marie, 85, Lower Debert passed away
Saturday, March 23, 2019 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre,
Truro with her husband and family by her side. Born in Britt, Ontario,
she was a daughter of the late William and Florence (Leroues)
Fletcher. Margaret worked in her earlier years in Kitchener, ON with
MacIntosh Cleaners before moving to Nova Scotia in 1994 with her
husband Stan.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years Stanley Rafuse;
brothers, Cecil Fletcher of Kitchener, ON, Lou Fletcher (Carol) of
Kitchener, ON; sister, Jeanette Courchesne (Romeo) of Kitchener, ON;
several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Bert, Willis, Speedy,
Tom, Bob; sister, Edna.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mattatall~Varner
Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. No visitation or funeral service
by family request. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Red
Cross. A special thank you to the Doctors and Nurses of CEHHC Truro,
the EHS, VON Support Workers for over the years and also the Onslow
Belmont Fire Brigade for your help and wonderful support given to my
