It is with heavy hearts that the family of Kenneth
“Ken” Roy Smith announces his passing which occurred
at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, March 2,
2019. Born in Saint John, NB on October 3, 1973, he was a
son of Douglas and Sandra (Healey) Smith.
Ken will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Katherine
“Kathy” (Arsenault) Smith and their two children,
Connor and Emily; brother Doug Smith of Smithtown, NB; sister Heidi
and her husband Graham of Warman, SK; half brother Tim Johnston of
Belleisle, NB; sister-in-law Christine Arsenault of Bloomfield, NB;
father-in-law and mother-in-law, Louis Arsenault and his wife Bonnie
of Passekeag, NB; as well as several nieces and nephews. Ken was
predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Roy and Mary Smith; and
maternal grandparents, Fred and Grace Healey.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral
Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB, where visitation
will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 6 – 8pm. The
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at 11:00am
from Reid’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place
in the spring at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Smithtown.
Donations in memory of Ken may be made to the charity of the
donor’s choice. Personal condolences to the family and
donations may be made through ReidsFH.com
