Jeanette Brunner 2019

Jeanette Wilhelmina Ann Brunner, of Hanover, passed away at Grey-Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound on Friday, March 22, 2019. She was 92.
Born on August 29, 1926, in Neustadt, Ontario, to the late Erwin and Luella (nee Breutigam) Hilgartner. Jeanette lived a busy and full life. She worked hard with her husband Godfrey to raise their family and to run Brunner’s Home Hardware. She was also very gracious with her spare time, and a dedicated member of her church. She was a Sunday School teacher, and a member of the church choir and Women’s Group. Jeanette loved music, and was able to share this by teaching piano lessons for many years and singing in the church choir.
Survived by daughters Carol (David) Brownell and Marcia (Paul) Burt both of West Grey. Dearly missed by grandchildren Lucas Brownell, Nicolas (Stephanie) Burt, Graham (Robyn) Burt, Rachael (Simon) Swain, and great grandchild Logan Swain. Fondly remembered by sister Marjorie Kreutzkamp of Kitchener and sisters in-law Giselle Brunner and Olga Eller of Hanover, as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by husband Godfrey Brunner, brothers in-law John (Dorothy) Brunner, Ernest Brunner, Robert (Maria) Brunner, William Brunner, Ken Kreutzkamp, and Otmar Eller, and sisters in-law Ida (Edward) Huber and Theresa (Elmer) Miklos.
Visitation at St. Matthew’s Ev. Lutheran Church, Hanover, on Monday, March 25, 2019, from 10-11 am, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11 am. John Polacok officiating. Interment in Hanover Cemetery, Hanover.
