After a brief illness, passed away at the Stedman Community Hospice on February 22, 2019. Janice was in her 75th year. Predeceased by her husband Anthony Cyril Godden. Mother to Paul (Gina McGee) and Donna (Jeff Power). Grandmother of Mistie, Diana and Grace. Great-grandmother of Noah. Sister of Ivan Bagg (Jean) of England and aunt to Stacey. Special friend Bill Dikandis and dear friend of Nora McMahon.Through such an intense journey Janice mused that the nursing staff and support workers were so wonderful. Thank you to Brantford General Hospital floors 7 and 8. Also gratitude for the multiple levels of care provided by Stedman Hospice. Doctors who excell at their work, Dr. Healy and Dr. Legere. Much love and thanks to you all. Respecting Janice’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family interment will take place at a later date. If desired, donations to the Stedman Community Hospice would be greatly appreciated.

  1. Margaret Wing, in England, cousin to Janice, sends her sincere condolences to Janice’s family at this sad time. Ivan had informed Margaret that Janice was ill and received the letter from Donna but has found it difficult to reply.
