It is with intense sadness that I announce the sudden passing of Heather Wood Matthews of London, Ontario on March 6, 2019. Born March 7, 1959 at London, she grew up in Bayfield and Goderich, and later lived in Lucan, Ontario before moving into London. Survived by her only sibling Maureen Senior and husband Al of Stratford. Also survived by best friend and housemate Rob Stanley of 231 Regal Drive, London, Ontario, N5Y 4Z7. Heather was a kind and gentle woman who always put others ahead of herself. Heather loved family and took wonderful care of our mother, who predeceased her on December 28, 2017. As well, she loved her friends, her City of London family and the many cats she had over the years. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, which will be posted here prior to the date.
