April 17, 1939 – March 02, 2019

Age 79 of Upper Hammonds Plains – passed away on March 2, 2019 in the Victoria General Hospital in Halifax, Nova Scotia with loving family members by his side.
Born in Saint John, New Brunswick, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Alice (Bristol) Wilson. Eddy was an amazing man who made friends wherever he went. He had a beautiful smile and an infectious laugh. He was a person who would go out of his way to help anyone in need. He was a true advocate, community member and was a devote member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Upper Hammonds Plains.
Eddy is survived by his wife, Gina; daughters, Sherrylynne (Montreal), Pamela (Montreal) and Tami (Montreal); son, Kevin (Sandra) (Toronto); step-son, Nico (Halifax); grandchildren, Alecha, Shamar, Joshua and Eric; sisters, Constance and Nina; and brother, Albert (Nicole). He was predeceased by his brother, Lawrence; sisters, Laura, Margie and Dorothy.
A celebration of Eddy’s life will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Upper Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia, with the Rev. Dr. Lennett J. Anderson officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church, Upper Hammonds Plains.
