Obituary of Clarence Joseph Carl Konkle
Konkle – Clarence (Babe) Konkle born in Beamsville Oct.8 1927 who passed away peacefully with his family by his side Mar.18 2019 at Niagara Ina Grafton Home in his 92nd year.
Clarence was a loving father to Dan (Rachel), Carolyn (Carl), Sharon (Dan), Bob, John (Jenn), Irene and leaves behind Blanche who was by his side for his last few months.
He will be greatly missed by his 18 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his parents Clarence & Jean Konkle and his four siblings Mary (Allen) North, Albert (Hilda) Konkle, Norma (Charlie) Burse and Shirley (Joe) Gallant.
Clarence was always involved in the construction industry he previously owned Lincoln Haulage, and was a proud member of the Carpenters Union Local 18 for 59 years; he was a long time member with the Moose Lodge in St Catharines. Clarence always enjoyed playing euchre and loved spending time with family and friends.
He has always enjoyed travelling in his motor home with many trips to Florida, California, B.C. and Lazy Lakes.
Cremation has already taken place; the family will receive visitors at the Tallman Funeral Home 3277 King Street Vineland on March 30th from 12-2:00 service immediately to follow. If desired In Lieu of flowers donation to The Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
