FRASER, Ann Winifred
Ann passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 9, 2019 in her 86th year. Born June 12, 1933 in London, England, Ann was the loving wife of Bob for 61 years. Mother to Ian (Antonia), Peter (Heather), Jake (Marie), Carol (Kelly), Catherine and Angus. Proud grandmother to Jordan (Jessie), Adam, Emily (Andrew), Christopher, Leandra, Stephanie (Travis), Peter (Sarah), Taylan, James, Ben, Brian, Evin, Mackenzie, Will, Lizzy, Jack, Tom and Andy. Great-grandmother to Emma, Josie, Fraser, Eliza and Isabella. Big sister to Richard Bowie (Audrey). True to her caregiver talents, Ann spent many wonderful years as a nurse at the Royal Victoria Hospital. Her greatest joy though always came from her family. Bringing her large family together filled her with tremendous happiness. She shared with pride all of their growth and accomplishments. One of Ann’s greatest expressions of love was her endless ability to put others first. Ann, Mum, Granny and Great Granny was loved by so many, far and wide, and will always be missed. We deeply appreciate the love and care from the staff at both Bridlewood Trails and West End Villa. She will be deeply missed and always remembered. Visitation will be held at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Bayshore and Baseline Rd) on Wednesday, March 13 from 2 p.m. until time of service in the chapel at 3 p.m. There will be a reception to follow. Burial will take place at Mount Royal Cemetery, Montreal, QC on Thursday, March 14th at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a gift to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
