Kathleen Mary Delaney Benjamin
Peacefully, on February 3, 2019 at the West Island Palliative Care Centre. Beloved wife of Stephen for 26 years. Loving mother of Melaney (John), Melissa (Andrew) and Meaghan (Adam). Loving sister of Kevin and Marlene, cherished daughter of Eileen and predeceased by her father Brian. She will be remembered as someone who care for those less fortunate and sadly missed by all those who knew her. A special thank you to all staff at The West Island Palliative Care Centre who helped our family through this very difficult time. A gathering will be held at a later date.

  1. I have known Kathy since early childhood when she would visit her grandmother Nell Hughes, in St, Laurent. I watched over Meaghan when Melissa had to be hospitalized when she was just a baby. Our families spent many a New Years Eve together and we enjoyed BBQ parties in her backyard pool in the summer. Over the years we lost touch, but I thought of her many times. I had no idea that she was sick or that her Mom Eileen also was sick.
My sincere condolences to Melaney, Melissa and Meaghan. You may not remember me, but I certainly remember you. Your Mom was the best.
