THOMA, MARGARET (MARG) nee SCHMETZKO
It is with deep sorrow and sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on Thursday, February 21, 2019. She was born on August 17th, -1947 In Heavensea, Germany.
She is survived by her loving husband Albin Thoma; one son Alvin Thoma, three daughters, Joanne (Eugene) Bourgeois, Sylvia (Kevin) Connell and Michelle (Stephen) Jabs; seven grandchildren, Nina (Tim) Kooter, Steven (Kayla) Bourgeois, Nicholas Bourgeois (Vanessa Chase), Ethan Connell, Allan Connell, Andrew Jabs and Mathew Jabs; four great-grandchildren, Wren Bourgeois, Daliah Bourgeois, Marrit Kooter and Nova Bourgeois. She also leaves to mourn many cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends in Canada and Germany. Predeceased by her sister, Ottille (Tillie) Nelisher in 2014, brother in law, William (Bill) Nelisher in 2010, her mother Maria in 1996, her father, Johann in 1970, her mother-in-law, Mary in 1990, father-in-law, Anton in 1970, and many other family and friends who are all there to welcome her home.
Prayer Service will be held on Friday, March 1, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at the St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Barrhead. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Barrhead. Interment followed at St. Anne’s Cemetery in Barrhead.
