Langton, Helen Elizabeth (nee Penner)
Peacefully on February 27, 2019 at Idlewyld Manor, Hamilton. Helen passed away in her 95th year. Predeceased in 2017 by Ken, cherished husband of 41 years. Mother of Karen Sisson (Terry), the late Arthur Penner (Karen), Wayne Langton (Sandy), and Wendy Riley (Phil). Grandmother of several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Helen retired from the Addiction Research Foundation of Hamilton in 1977. Helen and Ken were snowbirds and avid golfers who enjoyed 24 winters in Bartow, Florida, while also residing in the Beamsville area. At Helen’s request, there will be no formal visitation. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations to Lincoln County SPCA, 4th Avenue, St. Catharines, ON, marked specifically for their Trap-Neuter-Release program would be appreciated by the family. Special thanks to the compassionate and professional staff in the Orchardview Wing, Idlewyld Manor, and the team of doctors and their colleagues at the Juravinski Hospital.
