Obituary for Gordon George Daniels
Owner of “The Smallest Book Store” passed away peacefully at his home on February 26th, 2019 in his 81st year. Gord was born March 25th, 1938, the first child of Ray and Lillian (Bell) Daniels of Cambray. He is predeceased by his wife Betty (Elizabeth Dunbar 2000). Gordon is survived by his son Steve and wife Debbie of Scarborough and Ed (Sara) of Toronto. Gord was the grandfather of Amanda (Eduardo) and Nick (Samantha). He is also survived by his brother Wayne and his wife Joye and sister Donna and her husband Jules and his sister-in-law Shirley Marconi and her husband Grant. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces, Lisa, Lois, Jackie, Jessica and great nieces and nephews. Gord will be missed by his furry companion “Stella” but he knows she will be loved by Jessica, Pat, Teya and Austin. In keeping with Gord’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a private family interment at Riverside Cemetery at a later time. If desired memorial donations may be made to the Lindsay Humane Society or a charity of your choice.
