Obituary for Aubrey Liddiard
Print
A month after celebrating 101 years Aubrey said a peaceful goodbye on February 19.
He was a first-class dad, a loyal friend, a serious sports fan and a proud Winnipegger.
Aubrey’s work life was spent in the wholesale paper business and he enjoyed it thoroughly. He lived his life with optimism, kindness and humour.
He is survived by his daughter Karen and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Doreen, his parents Ethel and Charles and his siblings Joy, Mildred, Wilf, Barney and Bert.
Special thanks to Anne Marie Roloff, Joan Wilton and the BK group for their friendship. Also to the caring staff at Grace Hospital.
Should friends wish donations can be made to Rossbrook House or Assiniboine Park Conservancy.
As per his request there will be no memorial service.
