On February 21, at 4:15 a.m., Anthony Huculak of Edmonton passed away peacefully in the arms of his loving wife of 64 years, Anne, with his family by his side.
Anthony lived a full and happy life. He was a devout Catholic who treasured his family and friends. He was a man of many talents being a multi-instrumentalist musician, wood worker and all-round craftsman. One of 13 children, he was predeceased by his parents, Wladyk and Mary; by siblings, Joe, Adeline, Albin, Frank, John, Helen, Edward, Victoria and Carl; and son, Lorne. He is survived by his wife, Anne; sons, Gerald (Sandra), David (Angela), Gregory (Rose-Ann); daughter, Janet (Larry); sisters, Jenny, Rose; brother, Ben (Mildred); and sister-in-law, Helen. Also mourning his loss are his precious grandchildren, Kayley, Kim, Andria, Kendra, Dylan, Janelle, Julia and Cameron. His great-grandchildren, Zakai, Nyara, Mattaius and Avaya also will miss their great Grandad. Special thanks to the loving, kind and caring staff at the Gerald Zetter Care Centre for looking after Tony so well these last many months.
Funeral Mass Thursday, February 28 at 10:30 a.m. at Resurrection Roman Catholic Church, 10555 – 50 A Street NW. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta, 14925 – 111 Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB T5M 2P6
