Passed peacefully away, with her hand held by her eldest son Gary, at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, Grace Parmiter, aged 91 years. Predeceased by her husband Hubert (Bert); parents, brothers and sisters. Leaving behind with fond and loving memories, 3 sons: Gary (Leona), Seymour (Joan) and Doug (Darlene); daughter Deborah (Gord) Holloway; 8 grandchildren (Angie, Corey and Gary, Trudy and Michael, Gerry and Rhonda and Dougie); a number of cherished great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sister Olga (Roly) Whitten; brothers Raymond and George (Joan) chafe; special friends Pam Smith and Mary Dillon; also, a number of other relatives and friends. A thank you to St Clare’s 7th floor West, for their care and compassion shown towards mom during her stay there and Rev. Sandra Tilley for her friendship. The family will be accepting visitors at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Thursday February 14 and Friday February 15 from 10-2 and 4-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Goulds, on Saturday February 16 at 2:00 p.m. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Grace’s memory may be made to St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Goulds.
