Truman Ellis
1941-2019
Janeville – The death of
Truman Ellis of Janeville, occurred on Wednesday January 16, 2019 at
the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Bathurst at the age of
77.
Born in Canobie,
he was the son of the late Ralph and Vera (Peters)
Ellis.
Truman worked as
a fisherman for most of his
life.
He is survived by
his partner, Lillian
Russell.
One son, Mark
Ellis (Darlene) of Charlottetown,
PEI.
Three
grandchildren: Hannah, Rebecca and
Tiffany.
Three
sisters: Ivy Ellis and Pansy Ellis of both of
Canobie and Lois Archibald of Salmon Beach.
Two brothers: Jimmy Ellis (Lillian) of
Stonehaven and George Ellis (Opal) of Janeville.
Several nieces and
nephews.
He was
pre-deceased by his wife, Betty Anne (Roy) Ellis, three sisters, Lucy
McGaugh, Georgina Smith, Charlotte Babineau, Ina O’Neil and
a brother
Ivan.
The family will
receive relatives and friends after 2 p.m. Thursday at Elhatton’s
Funeral Home, (www.elhatton.com) Bathurst. Funeral service
will be held on Friday January 18, 2019 at 2 p.m. from Central United
Church, Clifton. Visiting hours are Thursday from 2 to 4 and
7 to 9 p.m. In memory of Truman donations can be made to a
charity of the donor’s choice.
