SPRAGUE, Theda M. (Smith) – Theda M. (Smith) Sprague, 99, died on Monday, January 21, 2019, at home in Niagara Falls, NY, with her daughter, Marla, her caretaker of 10 years, by her side. She was born on January 30, 1919, in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, the daughter of the late Arthur and Phyllis A. (Johnson) Smith. She was married to George E. Sprague for 52 years. She is survived by her four daughters Judith Arsenault, of Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, Janice (William) Draper of Trinity, FL, Marla McGahey of Niagara Falls, NY, and Phyllis (Paul) Henschel of Concord, OH; eight grandchildren, Darryll (Sue) Arsenault of Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, Dean Arsenault of Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, Autumn (Michael) Luedke of Prairie du Sac, WI, Gregory McGahey of Niagara Falls, NY, Erich (Emily) Henschel of Chagrin Falls, OH, Brandon (Lucema) Henschel of Indio, CA, Lindsay (Jason) Bond of Medina, OH, and Blake Draper (Megan Adams) of Grinnell, IA; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Sprague; parents; a brother, Donald Smith; and a son-in-law, Terry Arsenault.
Visitation will be held 11 AM Friday, February 1, 2019, at Morse & Son Funeral Home, 5917 Main Street, Niagara Falls, Ontario, with funeral services held immediately following the service at Fairview Cemetery, 4501 Stanley Ave. Niagara Falls, Ontario.
