Obituary for Mary Glover (Kornuta)
February 7, 1930 – January 17, 2019
Mary Glover entered peacefully into rest with family at her side at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay on January 17, 2019.
Mary was a cherished wife, loving mother, and devoted and caring “Baba”. Predeceased by her husband John and her son James, Mary is lovingly remembered by her children Linda Ready (Eric) and Ken Glover (Elizabeth) and granddaughters Erin, Emily, and Hana Ready. They will remember her for her infectious smile, sense of humour, and warm personality. She was extremely proud of her granddaughters and her happiest moments occurred while spending time with them.
Born in Scarborough, Ontario, Mary later moved to Kingston, Ontario with her husband to raise her family. In 2016, Mary moved from Kingston to Lindsay, where she enjoyed spending time with her family and socializing with her new friends at Adelaide Place.
Eric and Linda would like to express special thanks to the staff of Adelaide Place and the Palliative Care Unit at the Ross Memorial Hospital for their exceptional care and support.
In keeping with Mary’s wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial service. If desired, donations in her memory may be made to the Ross Memorial Hospital Foundation – Palliative Care Unit or to a charity of your choice. Arrangements are entrusted to the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay.
Mary lived a happy life with love, determination, grace, and laughter. We are blessed to have been a part of her life.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Mary Glover Kornuta 2019..
