MARIE “MIDNITE” COLLINS
Marie “Midnite” Collins born on February 12, 1953, passed away peacefully at Riverview Health Centre on January 22, 2019 surrounded by love.
Left to survive Marie are her amazing family, which includes four half sisters and two half brothers, aunties, one sweet uncle, many cousins and incredible friends. She was predeceased by her loving parents Anna (2018) and Allan (1973) Collins as well as her biological mother Bernadette Dupasquier Simko (2000). Marie’s precious fur babies, Mack and Thumper, were so excited to meet her as she crossed the bridge to the other side.
A Celebration of Marie’s Life will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in Assiniboia Downs, 3975 Portage Avenue.
Special thanks to nurse Melissa at Riverview who was Marie’s angel, and all the staff for the wonderful care.
The support and love that has been shared on this journey, or Safari, as it is called in Africa, has been completely overwhelming.
