1952-2019
It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of our dearest Lejla, loving mother and friend, who came to rest in the comfort of her own home in the early morning hours of January 01, 2019, at the age of 66.
She was a remarkable woman known for her vibrant spirit, kind nature, incomparable strength, unfailing compassion, and most wonderful sense of humour.
Beloved by all who knew her, she will be missed more than words can say.
A memorial gathering for family and friends will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm at the Pinecrest Remembrance Centre (2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the World Wildlife Fund would be greatly appreciated.
