OBITUARY
Joy Marie Sullivan
February 9, 1962 – January 30, 2019
Joy Marie Sullivan passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at the age of 56.
Joy was a loving, passionate, determined, strong-willed, and competitive person. She loved to crochet, and play cards, darts, pool, and scrabble. She was proud to hold a certificate in Floral Design, and was a longtime member of the Royal Canadian Legion. Above all else, she valued her family and her role as a wife, mother, and grandmother. Joy will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of 33 years, Joe Sullivan, her children Dan Paisley, Dustin Sullivan (Alex), Armanda Sullivan (Sean), and Jasmine Connell (Flint), her grandchildren Olivia, Charlotte, and Clair, her mother Faye Paisley (Don), and her sisters Gayle (Pat), Daphne (Don), and Rhonda (Paul). She was predeceased by her father Bill Paisley, and her brothers Boyd Paisley and Ken Paisley (Louise). A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 6th at Barthel Funeral Home (566 Queenston Road, Cambridge) from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. A Celebration of Life Service will follow in the funeral home’s chapel at 12:00 pm. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Alpha-1 Foundation (alpha1.org).
