SENFT, John
John passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 15, 2019 at Meadow Edge House in Lumsden, SK at the age of 96. He was predeceased by his parents John and Mary Senft; brothers Eugene and Fernie; sisters Elma, Minnie and Marie; his first wife Ella (nee Degenstein) in 1956; his second wife Helen (nee Bentz) in 2013; his sons Darius in 2006 and David in 2007. John is survived by his children Dallas (Shirley), Eleanor (Larry) Derwin (Ferne), Greg (Lois), Joanne (Wayde) and Trent (Darlene); daughters in law Maraline Senft and Sharon Senft; 20 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. John will always be remembered for the love of his accoridan, playing at many dances, weddings and family gatherings. The family would like to thank the staff at Meadow Edge for the love and care they gave Dad! A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 21, 2019 at St. James Catholic Church, Southey, SK.
