Passed peacefully away at Private Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear on Wednesday, January 16, 2019, Jane Knapman of Lower Island Cove, age 75 years. Predeceased by husband: Arthur; son: Walter Perry; parents: Josiah and Bessie Maud Garland; sister-in-law: Phyllis (Lloyd) Adams; uncle: Arthur Morris. Leaving to mourn, son: Darrell Arthur, Mount Pearl; daughter-in-law: Cathy, Bay de Verde; three grandchildren: Sydney, James and Jorja; one brother: Joseph Garland, Lower Island Cove; sister-in-law: Elsie (Roy) Richter, Lower Island Cove; also a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Resting at the Salvation Army Citadel, Lower Island Cove on Friday, 2:30 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Saturday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, January 19 at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel and Cemetery, Lower Island Cove. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Salvation Army Citadel, P.O. Box 55, Lower Island Cove, NL, A0A 2W0.
