Georges Coutu ~ Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday January 26th at Caressant Care McLaughlin nursing home at the age of 92. Georges was the beloved husband of Mary nee Robinson (2009). Loved father of Jeanette and her husband Larry McAvoy, Aurel and his wife Heather Coutu, Shelda and her husband Bob Chapman, Luc and his wife Anne Coutu, Paul and his partner Liz Eddy. Cherished grandfather of Lesley (Raul), Alison (Christine), Charlene, Miranda (Jim), Jordan (Sacha), Kaitlin, Madison, Denver and his 13 great grandchildren. Brother of Roger, Guy, Lucien, Therese Renaud. Predeceased by his grandson Sean McAvoy and sisters and brother Chlotilde, Cecile, Rita and Aime. Visitation will be on Saturday, February 2nd at St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church, 28 King Street West, Millbrook from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Interment of cremated remains will take place at Fallis Cemetery, Pontypool. If desired memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Sick Kids Foundation or charity of your choice would be appreciated and may be made through Mackey Funeral Home or online at www.mackeys.ca
