Obituary
Kuntz, John David, born March 6, 1941, passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 16, 2019, in Vancouver, BC, at the age of 78. Predeceased by his son, Sean Kuntz, his brothers, Tom Kuntz and Mike Kuntz, and his parents, Harry and Mary Kuntz. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Sirkka Kuntz, his son Ryan Kuntz, his daughter Kate Harper (Bryan Harper), his sister Judy Barclay (Walt Barclay), and other family and friends. Dr. Kuntz was an accomplished orthopaedic and neuropaedic surgeon, a talented musician, and helicopter pilot. He also established a wildlife rescue foundation in northern BC. He was a kind and loving person who enjoyed life to the fullest and will be dearly missed.

I just read this death notice and I am wondering if David was born in Malartic Quebec. I was born there and I knew his sister Judith very well. I am very sorry for your loss .. David was obviously and talented and loved man.

After many years we hear that Dr. John David Kuntz is dead. We arwe truly very sorry and we send our best to the whole family. Many people here in Europe tried to invite him here to Sweden and we heard romours that the Committe for the Nobel Prize in medicine was very interested of him. Sorry to say, we tried to have him over to Germany, Finland, Switzerland and England and specially here to Sweden to meet the Her Majesty the Queen Silvia of Sweden, that is the founder of The International Institute for Alzheimer.
