MONKHOUSE, David Edward
The family of Dave Monkhouse announces his passing at Juravinski Hospital on Saturday, January 19, 2019 in his 53rd year. Loving husband of his wife and best friend Elizabeth, very proud father of John (Danielle), Dane and Bronwyn and grandfather to Olivier. Dave will be greatly missed by his mother Joyce and sister Diane Wood as well as his niece and nephews Nicole, Ben, Blake, Andrew and Greg. Predeceased by his father Earl. Dave was a Fire Inspector with the Mississauga Fire Department. Dave was also District Chief of the Cainsville Fire Station, who was his second family. He was an avid curler and lifetime member of the Paris Curling Club. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations in Dave’s name may be made to the Paris Curling Club Ice Pad Replacement Project. Family and friends will be received at the McCleister Funeral Home, 495 Park Road North, Brantford on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm and Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Funeral service in the Chapel on Friday at 11:00am. Interment at St. George Cemetery. Letters of condolence will be received by the family at www.mccleisterfuneralhome.ca McCleister 519-758-1553
