Cowie, Beatrice Irene:
Passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 27th, 2019 at Forest Heights Long Term Care at the age of 74.
Loving sister of Mae Cowie (Rene Dugas).
Cherished aunt of Wayne, Shaun, Marshall, Krystal, Jeremy, Barb and Cindy, and several great nieces and nephews.
Remembered by her brother-in-law Robie Shanks.
Predeceased by her sister Ruth Shanks and her nephew Mitchell.
Beatrice loved children, spending many years working as a babysitter. She had a passion for animals, particularly horses. Beatrice was great at puzzles and enjoyed going shopping with her sister Mae.
A Celebration of Beatrice’s Life will be held at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Thursday, January 31st, 2019 at 5:30 p.m. Visitation to follow from 6:15 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. Interment at Woodland Cemetery at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Parkinson Society of Southwestern Ontario would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
