It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alice Avery in her 95th year.
Predeceased by husbands Edward Patterson and James Avery; daughters Sylvia and Mary; and brothers Al and Harold Joiner.
Loving mother of Fran (Wayne) Higgs, Ted (Bonnie) Patterson and Jack (Wendy) Patterson. Amazing grandmother (Toots) to 9, great grandma to 17 and great great grandma to 1.
The funeral will take place on Friday, January 25, 2019 at 1 pm at Mitchell Funeral Home, 15 High Street, Huntsville with visitation 1 hour before the service and the family will celebrate her life with friends after the funeral at the reception in the Mitchell Funeral Home. In keeping with Alice’s wishes, cremation will take place, with internment at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Algonquin Grace Hospice, Huntsville.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff and residents of Rogers Cove. They really made her feel like she was part of that family.
She will be greatly missed by all.
