Obituary of ZINA MAZUR
MAZUR, Zina – It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Zina at Norfolk General Hospital on Monday December 31, 2018 of Waterford in her 97th year. Wife of the late Samko Mazur. Loving mother of Helen (and the late Russell) Fry. Cherished Baba of Edward, Christiana (and James), Michael (and Julie), Marlena (and Dan), and great grandchildren Collin, Sawyer, Cillian, Freya, Eleanor, Annabelle, Theodore, and step great grandchild Dakota. Dear sister of Helen (and Anatolia). Predeceased by sister Alexandra. Zin had a love for gardening. Friends may be received at THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford Friday January 4, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday January 5, 2019 at 11am. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy the family would appreciate donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation, Waterford Camp Trillium or charity of choice.

To the Family of the late ZINA MAZUR who passed on December 31, 2018. I’m truly sorry, I wasn’t able to know Zina Mazur but, somehow, I feel that I knew her. She was a kind and gently women and loved by many who entered her life. Somehow, I feel that we are related and I am trying to find my family for many of years until I came across this Notice and said to myself could she have been my grandmother??? Please forgive me for asking. My deepest sympathies go to you and the family.
I’m just trying to find my roots of where I came from and I got here.
