Obituary of Yvette Mathieu
It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of Yvette on Friday, November 30, 2018 at the age of 81. Beloved wife of Noel for 64 years. Cherished mother of Anita (Bruce), Ronald (Patricia), Lise (Todd). Deeply loved by her grandchildren Matthew, Kimberly, Melissa (Michael) and Rachelle (Brandon) and her precious great grandchildren Rena and Kianna. Also, greatly missing her will be her furry friend Deuce and her numerous horses. Predeceased by her parents Donat and Louise LaPolice; brothers Henri, Albert Jean-Noel, Paul-Emile LaPolice; and sisters Francoise Camirand, Gertrude LaPolice, Laura LaPolice and Helene Ouimet. Predeceased by her father-in-law and mother-in-law Alfred and Cecile Mathieu; sisters-in-law Jeanne, Armelle, Therese and Beatrice; and brothers-in-law Adelard, Phillipe, Marcel, Jean and Willard. Yvette will also be fondly remembered by her sisters Rita Chicoine, Noella Plante; brothers-in-law Leonel and Daniel; sisters-in-law Noella, Doris, Pierrette and Lina; and many nieces and nephews. As per Yvette’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no funeral services will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations to ARCH in her memory would be appreciated by the family. A special thank you to Liv and Sierra for the loving care shown to mom while still living at home and to all the ARCH staff. Thank you to Doctor Wilson and Doctor Booth in Palliative Care for their help and compassion. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road, 705-945-7758).
