Mr. Winston Michael Sylvestre, born on December 23, 1921 in Adra, West Bengal, passed into spirit peacefully in his home at the age of 96 on the evening of May 21, 2018 in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. From 1939 to 1945 Winston served in the British Army and Navy in World War II. Winston was faithfully married to Pamela for fifty- eight years. Together with their two children, Winston and Pamela immigrated to Canada in 1965. He is survived by his son, Shelton (Tracy); daughter Melody (Gary); grandchildren, Michael, Samantha (Christian), and Sydney (Jordan); and nieces, Indira Westlake, Anna Smith and Cymbeline Gaynor. He was a happy member of St. Joseph of Nazareth Anglican Church. Winston will be remembered for his peaceful way in this world and for his dedication to helping others.
