The passing of Winston MacDonald of Richibucto Road, NB, husband of Lorna (Newcombe) MacDonald occurred on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, peacefully with his family by his side. Born on February 6, 1933 in Gray Rapids, NB, he was the son of the late Weldon and Pansey (Curtis) MacDonald. After retiring as an owner operator truck driver, Winston started W&L Used Cars. Winston was an avid Stock car driver.

In addition to his wife, Winston is survived by his children, Carla Shaw (Robert) of Moncton, NB, Greg MacDonald of Noonan, NB, and Jeff MacDonald (Kathy) of Noonan, NB; grandchildren, Michelle, Shannon, Tarah, Emily and Ashley; great grandchildren, Amelia and Cole; sister, Verda Warren of Hartland, NB; brothers, Winslow MacDonald (Sharon) of Noonan, NB and Garland MacDonald (Sharon) of Fredericton, NB; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Freda Satter and brother, Thornton MacDonald.

At Winston’s request, there will be no visitation or service. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Fredericton SPCA. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
