Obituary for
Wilma Snider
Peacefully entered into rest at the Great War Memorial Hospital in Perth on Saturday, November 17, 2018 in her 91st year. Cherished wife of the late Floyd Snider (2006). Daughter of the late Rev. Charles Wilmot Kay and Nora (Cyderman) Kay.
Beloved mother of the Rev. Glen (Mary Louise) of Peace River, AB, Ron (Evelyn) of Verona, Don who predeceased her in 2002 (Darlene) of Verona, Paul (Heather) of Perth, Kathy (Jeffrey) Rice of Westport, Steven (Deborah) of Kitchener, Mark (Miriam) of Westport and David (Sharon) of Courtenay, BC, her 20 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and her many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her brother Eldon (Mildred) Kay and sister Joyce (late Ray) Elgie. Survived by her brother Allan (Donna) Kay of Belleville and her sister-in-law Mildred (late Eldon) Kay, and brother-in-law Rev. Kenneth (late June) Snider.
Visitation will be held on November 20, 2018 at Lyons Funeral Home in Westport from 2-4 p.m. and from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on November 21, 2018 at the Westport Free Methodist Church at 1 p.m. with visitation from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. The interment service is to be held at the Westport United Church Cemetery immediately following the funeral.
