William “Bill” Charles Muirhead
1940 – 2018
Surrounded by his loving family, Bill passed away peacefully on Monday, August 13, 2018 at Regina General Hospital, SK at the age of 78 years.
Bill is survived by his wife of 55 years Mary (nee Bailey) Muirhead; Daughter, Sheena (Michael) Koops, their daughters Victoria Leigh (Tyler) Utman, Moira Jane (Christiaan) Keijzer Koops, and Arwen Dawn; Son, Ian (Janet Bell) Muirhead, their son Kellen Peter, their daughters Lanelle Margaret and Neve Lavine; Daughter, Andrea Leigh Muirhead; Brother Wayne (Margaret) Muirhead; Sisters, Norma Erickson, Isobel (Richard) Aspenleiter, Mary (Calvin) Elford, June Muirhead, Velma (Jeff) Jopp; Brother Elgin (Donna) Muirhead; Aunt Ina (Johnson) Malm; Sister-in-law, Sheena (Mowat) Bailey, Sister-in-law, Betty (Robert) Watts, Sister-in-law, Alice (Gary) Brown, Brother-in-law, Tom (Jenna Lee) Bailey as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and chosen brothers and sisters.
Bill was predeceased by his infant son Titus Ward; parents, Peter Samuel Muirhead and Laura Inez (Johnson) Muirhead; Mother and Father-in-law, Cecil Thomas Bailey and Lavine Kristine (Jelsing) Bailey; Brother-in-law, Jelsing Bailey and Brother-in-law, Vern Erickson.
We, the children of Mary Muirhead, invite you to join our circle of celebration and love remembering our dad, mom’s William Charles, our kid’s grandpa and everyone’s BIll to the Wake which will be held on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at the Church of Christ, Estevan, SK at 7:00 p.m with Pastor Tim Pippus officiating. Bill’s family would like everyone to bring your stories, games, fiddles, guitars, voices, hugs and prayers.
The Funeral Service will be held at the Church of Christ on Monday, August 20, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with Tim Pippus officiating. The interment will take place immediately following the service at the Estevan City Cemetery. Everyone is welcome to attend the graveside with lunch to follow at the Church of God auditorium (please use the North door at the end of the parking lot).
If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the “Let’s Start Talking Canada”, 1825 Rothwell Street, Regina, SK, S4N 2C3 in memory of Bill Muirhead. Andrea Muirhead (Bill’s youngest daughter) is the Executive Director.
