Willa Cameron Laferty 2018

AVIS DE DÉCÈS
Willa (Cameron) Laferty
24 juin , 1962 – 15 mai , 2018
LAFERTY, Willa Cameron 1962 – 2018 It is with profound sadness we announce the death of our dearest Willa Catherine Nelson, at Charles Lemoyne Hospital on May 15, 2018, after a brief illness. Willa was the adored wife of Marc Laferty, Montreal, QC, the treasured daughter of John and Sandra Cameron of Knowlton, QC and cherished sister of Susan Strickland (George) of Oakville, ON. She was also very close to her sister-in-law Manon Laferty and her daughter Stephanie, and to Andrée Tessier. She was the proud aunt of James, Alexandra and Andrew Strickland. The wee children, Ava, Lyla and Finn were her delight. There are countless others whose lives she touched. Willa was a very special person who found joy in simple things, who laughed with ease but wasn’t afraid to cry, who found humour in the everyday, who reached out to friends and family. She had a special love of nature, Ahmic Lake, the sunrise, the birds, and her pets including her pup, Tilly. A Celebration of her Life will be held on Friday, June 1 at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel of Collins Clarke McGillivray White Funeral Home, (5610 Sherbrooke St. West, Montreal, QC). (Parking behind on Marcil Ave.) Reception to follow. In her memory, donations to the Charles Lemoyne Hospital Foundation, or the SPCA Montérégie would be gratefully acknowledged.
